Shawn Ahmed is an award-winning actor, writer and producer based out of Toronto. Shawn can be seen in so many great shows so to have a bit of time with him was an honour! In 2015, he recurred as Shed Garvey on Syfy's The Expanse (2015), and played the critical role of Ray Halle in four episodes of HBO's Emmy-winning drama The Night Of (2016). From 2005-2006, he played kid genius Michael Tribbiani opposite Matt LeBlanc on the Friends (1994) spin off, Joey (2004), during which time he also headlined Douglas Coupland's Everything's Gone Green (2006), a festival darling which won numerous awards. He played major supporting roles in several films including Josie and the Pussycats (2001) and 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002), and starred opposite Woody Harrelson and Alicia Silverstone in Scorched (2003). This marked the beginning of his professional career in the United States. After testing for Phillips and Ivan Reitman, he was offered the role of Rubin Carver. A week later he received a call from his agent: after seeing his tape, Todd Phillips wanted Paulo to fly to New York to screen test for Road Trip (2000). When he was 21, he attended an international cattle call audition for an unnamed Dreamworks film. Shortly thereafter, he landed the role of quirky alien Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthil on Nickelodeon's Animorphs (1998), which ran for two seasons. In his first major television role he starred opposite 'Linda Hamilton, Scott Speedman and Alfred Molina in the Barbra Streisand produced Rescuers: Stories of Courage: Two Couples (1998), in which he played a Jewish teen in hiding from the Nazis in 1939 Belgium. He attended Mayfield Secondary School for the Arts, then attended one year at Ryerson University for theater, but dropped out when he started to land Toronto based television and film roles. He grew up in Brampton, a suburb of Toronto, of Italian (father) and Jewish (mother) descent. Paulo Costanzo was born on Septemin Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She continues to live and create in Toronto. Most recently she directed Under the Christmas Tree, Lifetime's first lesbian holiday romance movie. In February 2021 season two of Odd Tube, which she directed, won the Kidscreen Award for Best Web Series - Branded, against Lucas Films and Mattel. She directed Lockdown from her living room during the Covid-19 pandemic for YouTube Studios (1 million + views). Her work as a television director can be seen on BBC Kids, PBS, Amazon Prime, Makeful, and includes Emmy winning Odd Squad and Dino Dana. As her focus shifted to primarily writing and directing, she has been in the writing room for major networks including Netflix, ABC, CBC, and HBO Max. She then moved to Toronto to participate in the Canadian Film Centre's Cineplex Screenwriting Program. Lisa Rose was then awarded the NSI Drama Prize for her short film When Fish Fly, which had a strong international festival showing including playing at TIFF Kids and won Audience Choice at the San José Short Film Festival. TPRK went on to win Best Canadian Short at the Silver Wave Film Festival, Best Juried Short at the Parrsboro Film Festival, Bronze for Best Film in The Coast Weekly, and appeared on CBC's Short Film Face Off. In 2013 she was accepted into the AFCOOP FILM5 program where she wrote and directed her first short, Two Penny Road Kill. A graduate of the Dalhousie University Acting Program, she has appeared onscreen in film and television in numerous projects including TIFF Discovery Award winning All the Wrong Reasons, recurring on Sex and Violence, Haven, Saving Hope, and This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Born and raised on the East Coast of Canada, Lisa Rose began her career in front of the camera. Her writing won the Telefilm New Voices Award in 2018, and she received a WIFT Award for Women Making Waves. Lisa Rose Snow was named by Women In View as one of Canada's top 3 emerging female directors in 2017.
